Norinco model 37,worth the $$ ?

Has any one had experience with the norinco 37 ?
a local Sporting goods store has them on sale for $139.00
I figure it would do for now for Home Defense/Hogs??
Until I can build my dream Remmington or mossberg!?!
The model im refering to has the ghost ring & heat shild.
Also bottom eject & a 18.5 in. bbl
Any info Is greatly appreciated.:D


Also Any mods avail for it(stocks,mag ext.,)???Where???:confused:
 
The early versions were pretty bad.
They were VERY rough internally, and not too good externally.

At one point, distributors were selling them for as low as $80.00.

I understand the current models are a little better, and not so rough.

A better idea would be the Norinco copy of the Remington 870.
These are better quality, although not up to American standards of fit and finish.

These are sold under brand names like Norinco, Hawk, Interstate Arms, Brolin, and New England Firearms.

On the Norinco copy of the Model 37, most parts and accessories, (what there is available) don't seem to fit.

Many parts and accessories do fit the Norinco copy of the 870, but NOT barrels.
