Just heard on the news that Philadelphia has jumped on the bandwagon with suing gun manufacturers. Grrrrr

Well, Philly is the armpit of this beautiful state. Things don’t look good for gun owners. :(

I heard a long time ago that there were a few crimes committed with base ball bats in Philly. They supposedly passed a local ordinance forbidding the purchase of a base ball bat with out a serial number, background check, and special permission. Haven't heard anything about this lately. Have you?

The new administration is trying to skirt the state law against these lawsuits.

Contact your state representative ASAP.

I live in NE PA and I have disliked the Philadelphia political scene for as long as I can remember. To think that Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell reside there is sickening.

By the way, in Philadelphia, most crimes with baseball bats are committed in the Vet by the Phillies.

I was of the impression Ridge already signed a ban on junk law suits...
Reckon I'll be calling Stan Saylor tomorrow!!

BTW, one of the first instigators of the whole lawsuit BS was tthe former mayor of Philly, Ed Rendell.
I was testifying in Harrisburg against a one gun per month law a year ago. I saw Rendell then. What a friggin' jerk!
BTW, SVT...I've read Rendell wants to run for governor next election. Prepare thyself to do battle!

Grrrr I hate that name Rendell. Though Ridge is an inbred imbecile, he's no where near as bad as Rendell. I'll be damned if PA turns into a commi state without a constant barrage of letters and phone calls to our senators and reps.

I'm on the wagon with you guys, I don't have to much use for Philly and its leaching politicos, Especially Rendell. Where and when was this announced,Somehow I missed it.

I also noticed S&W named in the suit. So much for makin' a deal with the devil!! Now they still get sued and loose their customer base. Tooooo Baaad!

Rendell threatened to do it, but backed down. As soon as Street was elected mayor, I knew there were going to be problems. My state Rep will be hearing from me.

Many of the big cities have nothing to lose. They're drowning in debt because a large percentage of their population is on welfare or so poor that the city can't afford to run with them as it's only citizens.

I left the city as soon as I could. Why should I choose to live somewhere that I have to pay nearly 5% in extra income taxes. Anybody who can is leaving, and the companies are following.
