Hey all, I don't know if this is the right spot but here goes. I was given two hand guns. The first is a pistol H&R arms .32cal(safety hammer-double action). There is a number on the bottom of the grip(67370). The second is a Astra (200 I think)Semi in .25 cal. The number on the second is740302(still have the matching box). About how old are these guns? I was thinking of taking the to a gunsmith to see if they are still ok to shoot. Any info about the guns or suggestions would be great.
H&R is pre WW2.the other is spanish.astras are ok.is the H&R center fire?if it is it should be ok to fire.if not beat up.neather are worth to much,$100 each.
as most any are now worth more than they cost.the H&R cost about $15 new.
www.gunboards.com is a collectors website. You'll probably learn more than you thought there was to learn about old guns there.Very helpful bunch hangs out there, too.Give it a look...
