Hi this is my first post and would like to get a price check

There is a slightly used H&k usp .40 I have came across yesterday at a gun store with a price tag of $650, comes with nice HK logo case and 3 total mags. Not alot of wear and tear from what i saw, of coarse i really dont know what to look for except the finish of the slide. Is this a good deal or should i keep shopping?

Check for this model on gunbroker.com, this should give you a good idea of the going prices. But keep in mind that GB prices tend to be a bit higher than those you'll find at retailers in many regions.

Thanks for the replys
I didnt have time to check them earlier so I went with my gut and baught it. Like I said, I got the gun ,3 total mags and the HK case and the salesman even through in a Fobus paddle holster and a Fobus 2 mag holster. The gun itself seems to be in pretty good condition. The salesman told me since they dont get to test every single gun that comes through, he would give me 30 days to bring it back if there were any problems. I am going to try to find time during the holidays to go shoot it.

side note* i bought 2 boxes of winchester .40sw(range ammo) but he told me to use either Remington or Blazer. Will winchester still work?

THis is a Real Antique...

I have an antique hand gun in which I wanted to get price check. I am a noob so bare with me. I has trade mark OH. Here is the writing on it..."The Best American Cartridges are 1pose 4/t fit best the O.H. Revolver Pat 4 May 1881 12 April 1888 27 May 1890 11 June 1900 26 July 1900 23 May 1901" Also etched in gun is 32 Long CTG. Anyone have any idea?

Thanks Trey

Semi-Surreal Thread

Not a great price, but not obscene, either. If you enjoy the gun, that's what's important. Any .40 ammo should work; I personally shoot Winchester White Box for practice and Gold Dot, Golden Saber, or Hydra-Shok for carry. Enjoy your gun!

I paid $350 for mine used, but that was a smokin deal in my opinion. $500 would seem a little more reasonable to me but of course that depends on the condition. By the way, the gun you speak of is one fine shooting auto...
