Non-res Carry Question

As a newly licensed non-resident CCW'er in Virginia and Florida I was wondering if anyone has any experience having a Florida CCW recognized in one of the honoring states (say Ohio) by an law enforcement official. How well versed have you found police to be in these issues?

Most Ohio LEOs I've spoken with haven't encountered anyone with an Ohio CHL, let alone someone with an out of state license. Of course, people who legally carry concealed don't usually break laws, so this does not surprise me. :)

I would print out the state's law regarding non-resident CCW licensees and reciprocity and keep it with me while driving through the state. In Ohio, you may run into a LEO who just doesn't know. (Especially in rural areas)
