Non-NRA pro-gun groups

I've been a member of the NRA for years, but in light of the upcoming legislative battles, I'm considering other groups to join. I'm aware of organizations such as Gun Owners of America, the Second Amendment Foundation, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Which, if any, is worth my membership money? Or would those dollars be better spent on the NRA? Also, I know this isn't the time to pinch pennies, but I'm by no means a wealthy man, and need to make my contributions count.

i'm life member of NRA but also found the Second Amendment Foundation SAF sister organization of the CCRKBA well worth supporting . Like the NRA-ILA also funds can be specifically directly to legislative action which is what we need now

The NRA are still the front line in the legislature. The SAF is our best voice in the courts. The NSSF falls somewhere in between, having been effective in both arenas. They're more a protector of the shooting industry than they are a pure 2A organization, but their approach has stopped a few onerous regulations in their tracks.

The way I see it, the NRA is the first line of defense as they will hopefully kill any new gun control in congress. I've also joined the SAF because, should the NRA fail to kill gun control in congress, the SAF will attempt to do so in the courts thus becoming the second line of defense.

I'm a NRA Life Member. All of my donations in that direction go to the NRA-ILA.
I'm also a Gun Owners of America member.

I'm not a rich guy either, but I just took the money I was saving for a new pistol and sent $250 each to the NRA-ILA and GOA
