I decided to try some Ba9. I found it similar to Unique but the recommended starting loads from Graf's pdf were too low to cycle. I ended pretty close to the Unique loads, a little dirty too like Unique. It metered better from a powder dispenser than flake power.
I have not tried other Nobel Sport powders. Reading some blogs/forums it seems to be good powder that is used in Europe.
It's not very often I run into home-rolled eureka loads on firearm forums for Nobel--can't think of ever seeing one for that matter-- nor any burn-rate comparison charts anywhere.
i saw that one of the in stock powders is on par with tiegroup for 18$ a pound. anyome tried the shtshell powders for 9mm? any good, i m tempted to order several ponds if they have something similar to TG or HP38, please let me know if anyone has tried it.
I have not. I was kinda hoping someone would post their "here's my killer load using Nobel xx" complete with target grouping pics or group sizes measurements. My tapping the Internet wisdom pool has so far resulted in lukewarm "it's OK" comments.
