Nobel Sport "VECTAN" powder

I used search and also see one thread up currently regarding NOBEL powder. Most info was regarding its maker and similar.

I just bought some from a new reloading supplier about 3 mlies from my house. It came with (at least the owner gave me) a manual for using this product. It's below Blue Dot on the burn rate chart.

It is VECTAN Ba 7.5 so I'm gonna see how it does for 45 Colt and maybe some .357 and .45acp.

Anybody? Good, bad, indifferent? Just curious and I plan to follow their date precisely until I see what I get from it....

Vectan powders are still made by Nobel Sport, unlike the ICI powder in the other thread. Ba 7½ is, according to the Google translation from French:

"The Ba7 1/2: created to expand the loading possibilities and gives excellent results in 9 mm Luger, 10 mm Auto, and .45ACP calibres."

"The Ba7 1/2: created to expand the loading possibilities and gives excellent results in 9 mm Luger, 10 mm Auto, and .45ACP calibres."

The guy gave me a small booklet that I believe that info is from. It's also in English. It gives a few different recipes for all caliber pistol and rifle, too. He said he had used it with good results. He'd gotten it during the shortage and said it was good powder, just use the info in the loading manual/booklet he gave me.

Thanks, that site was pretty neat. ;) I'm gonna bookmark it in case I run short of info on certain rounds I plan to make. This might get interesting. Did you notice the 'UK' translator in the upper right corner? It turns the French book to English. And it IS the booklet I got with my powder purchase....
