Mercy!

Who with any sense would put a .454 in a Judge? I'd use 460s!

Well I hope the person shooting that Judge wasn't hurt.

What a waste of a perfectly good round of 454 Casull.

Not a total waste. It did get rid of another Judge.

Hope nobody was hurt. But sometimes a sharp learning curve can be painful.

And that, boys and girls, is why magnum rounds are made longer than their weaker counterparts.

I suppose a cylinder built to accommodate shotgun shells negates that though.

Looks it it was a "one shot stop" at the wrong end.

"But it fit!!"

Wow, that is truly amazing someone can be that dumb. I hope they don't drive a vehicle.

To be fair to the shooter I believe there is a Judge variant that will handle a .454. That may have lead to some confusion.

But this probably wasn't one of them. Then again there was a post on here not too long ago with a Judge that split its top strap with standard .45 Colt ammo. So...

Not The Only Round This Can Happen With

There is also another way to blow up a gun in the same manner-firing a 38 Super in a 38 S&W Special-it'll fit but the chamber pressure is much higher than a 38 S&W Special is made to handle-I guess it wouldn't damage a 357 Magnum, but why would you do that anyway?Another caution:there are 45 Colt rounds that have no business being fired except in Ruger Blackhawks;RedhawkAlaskans;ORIGINAL Vaqueros(not New Vaqueros);or Freedom Arms revolvers. One example is the Georgia Arms 260 gr "Deerstopper"which comes with explicit warnings to that effect on the packaging.

Oh wait gang, that was a new version of the Judge.

It's call the Judge Grenade.

You cock it and throw it at your opponent.
