No Steyr Pistol Importer Yet!

Dynamit Nobel just sent me this email:

"We are the new importer of Steyr rifles but not the pistols. Steyr will announce the Pistol importer shortly."

Inquiring minds would like to know what will happen to the Steyr pistols? Please ;)
 
I wonder what it would requre to become an importer ;)

Probably take a chunk of change larger then what I got, but I think it would be profitable.
 
Dont hold your breath. My bet is we dont see Steyr handguns come into this country again. They took way too big a beating the last few times they've tried it.
 
Just as well that Dynamit Nobel will not be importing the pistols. They are VERY disorganized. Also, I wouldn't put too much stock in their "will be announced shortly." They gave me the same reply several months ago (after taking 3 weeks to reply to my e-mail). I pity the people who buy the Steyr rifles and expect prompt service from this company. Notice how their website still doesn't reflect that they will be importing the rifles (as of a few days ago).
