Gore is planning to unveil a flurry of new initiatives "to make our childrens' lives safer." NO SMOKING signs in lifeboats is his first proposal. The next one is reportedly
a ban on all artificial materials in non-military parachutes.
This all sounds too absurd to be believable, but nowadays one can never be sure; the political class has degenerated to such a degree that no normal imagination can compete
with the inventiveness of the creepocracy_tm
on perpetual rampage in Washington, D.C.

See for yourself to what pathetic level of degradation we have been reduced, that this patently absurd story is accepted with a shrug and "well, after what these loons in Washington had leaped on us for generations,
one can't be surprised by any new insanity."
I've made that story up, fully conscious that the reality is stranger than any fantasy
I could invent.
