Is it just me, or is there a distinct rise in random violent crimes where the police state that they have "no motive and no suspects"?
Many of these seem to involve random STABBINGS.
The boy in Virginia, for instance, who was stabbed repeatedly and killed in his front yard by a black man that apparently got a ride to the neighborhood, walked down the street, saw the boy, pulled a knife out of his bag and killed the boy, then walked off calmly never to be seen again. I didn't see anything about it on the news though.
I just saw a story of an older lady who was walking to the store and some guy jumped out and stabbed her in the back and ran off. No motive, no suspects.
Of course, the examples are endless.
I find it very disturbing.
It makes me very wary. There does not have to be a reason any more for someone to stab you or a group of thugs to beat you to death for fun.
It is a strange world we live in.
