No flags in Indiana

Further proof that this country is going down the drain. Make sure you pay attention to the part that refers to the flag as "visual clutter".

Flag Ban

Of course, this is the same state that refuses to recognize Daylight Savings Time....

Couple small points ...
1. This applies only to City of Muncie campgrounds. (Not even sure there are more than one.) We're not talking some statewide ban on running things up the flagpole.
2. The original ban was against Confederate flags. The ICLU sued on behalf of the camper whose flag initiated the ban. The mayor thought he'd be smart and ban all flags, whereupon he was lambasted from all quarters. He immediately reverted to his ban on any flags except the American flag and POW/MIA.
3. I'll accept daylight savings time when the clock changes a little bit every day, not this silly "Spring forward, Fall back" an hour thing. Anyone want to invest in my new company - Computerized Clocks Inc? Everyone will need 'em when Daylight Savings Version 2.0 is foisted upon you by my special interest groups.

Another example how the answer to problem speech is more speech. Instead of banning the Cross of Treason, the mayor should have just made a speech about how awful and vile the Confederate Battle Flag is and shamed those who flew it into taking that awful racist symbol down. :)

As to Daylight Savings Time, the special interests can go jump in a lake, but I'm all for DST. :D

Well, Arizona is another state that refuses to go on daylight saving time. I like that. I think DST is an idiotic idea that should be scrapped. A real PITA!
