No fires

Recently purchased a Berretta 686 12 Ga. Took it to shoot trap and had no fires on 3 of 50 shots. The shell was struck but no fire. Had Cabella's send it back to Berretta and since I got it back it still "no fires on about 2 of 75 shots, always the same barrel. Anyone have a similar experience?

With the same ammo? It COULD be an ammo fault- I would not expect that many duds and it being the weapons fault. If you are using dodgy ammo, make sure you give the weapon 10 seconds before opening the action. I once had a hang fire in a FN FAL and it sacred the living daylights out of me---and could have been very dangerous.
 
where are you storing the ammo? if its in a damp place it maybe absorbing alot of moisture. I read some where that shotgun ammo is more likely to pick up moisture dont know if that's true I keep all ammo in water proof containers.
 
you didn't say how well the primer was struck.. if it is a solid impression, then it is the ammo.. if a light impression, then it is the gun and the hammer spring or an obstruction in the action. It is not common, but the one barrel might have the rim area made too deep for the firing pin to hit solidly.
