Nikon 6-24x50: Which reticle for benchrest?

I'm looking at the Nikon 6-24x50 but cant decide between the fine crosshair or the fine crosshair w/dot. I have no experience with either one and can't find a decent picture online that does it justice. The only fine crosshair w/ dot that I've had dealings with is with a Leupold Goldring. I'm a big mildot and moa reticle guy so this is my first rodeo with the fine crosshair. It will be used for benchrest and some extended range hunting. I have a Millett 6-25x56 LRS but its faulty and i misplaced my warranty card. So here we are. Thanks in advance.

I've got a "real world" picture of the fine reticle w/dot from a 6-18x 40mm Nikon Buckmaster around here somewhere from back when I was searching for a long range varmint scope. I'm assuming you're getting the Monarch from the specs. I believe the subtension ratios are similar/identical between the Monarch/Buckmaster for that reticle, given the differences in top end power. Check Nikon's site to confirm, and PM me here if you want the pic.
