Night Vision: Yukon Ranger Pro 5x42 or other?

Hi Folks,

I intend to buy a night vision system for hunting wild boad. I don't want a night vision riflescope, though (illegal here).

So, the Yukon Ranger Pro 5x42 seems pretty good. Can anybody here recommend this device or something else?

Could it really be that nobody here hunts with night vision devices (not night vision scopes). Over here in Europe it has become rather common for hunting wild boar...

I have one of the Older Yukons (3X44) and it isn't very clear (of course maybe it is my eyes) but seems to do a reasonable job. I picked it up used for $75.00 so I guess I can't complain. Called Yukon and they are sending a complete accessories pack for free...can't complain about that either!
