One of the tritium capsules on the rear sight of my meprolight night sights has died. This was installed on my Glock 27 5 years ago by a gunsmith who has left the area.-Apparently,Kimber now carries the meprolights.I'm wondering how to get the warranty (13 yrs) honored.
My other nightsighted handguns have Trijicons which I think are better and more durable. What do you other members opine about the relative merits of meprolight vs trijicon?

Of the ones I have seen, Trijicon's are much brighter. I intentionally bought a Kimber without night sights from the factory because I dont want like Mepro...

I have had Meprolights installed on my HK USP40 since 1994. I have never had a problem with them after an estimated 10,000 rounds. I've carried the gun on duty, hunting, IDPA competition and used +P ammunition, not to mention hours of practice. No sign of fade in brightness or shift in alignment. Of course my '94 sights far precede Kimber's involvement. Just wanted to advise of my experience with them.
