i may have goofed but i'd like a secong opinion.
After a lot of hesitation and research I had a set of Trijicon night sights installed on my Para-Ordnance P-13. The front sight is staked in TIGHT, and according to my gunsmith can't be removed without damage. I really like the sights, by the way.
That said, we were talking later and he mentioned a bake-on Teflon finish, which I was interested in, but which couldn't be applied to the slide without removing the sights first. Yikes--can't pull front sight without damage, can't refinish without damage=dilemma.
Does all this seem reasonable? Can anyone suggest an option if I eventually decide to refinish the weapon? I don't need to, but you just get that bug, y'know?
