Night Scope

I'm looking for a night scope for an AR-15 (LWRC-IC) for coyote hunting. I imagine the more complex a scope is, the more difficult it is to avoid malfunctions and the like. I do not need to take video or pictures and I will be shooting close to medium range (no more than 125 yards) as there are woods all around the clearings so range will be limited.

I just need good night optics. I can handle the hunting / shooting part. I would like to keep it under $1,500.00 but could go higher if there is a really good one for a little more. Any suggestions?

I picked up a Pulsar Core thermal scope for $1608 shipped. It's far better than the gen 1 night vision that I had before. I've seen ATN Thor thermals for close to the same price.
