S Sudo New member Mar 13, 2017 #1 Recently acquired a S&W 442 no dash revolver in factory Nickel. I wasn't aware that 442s were issued with Nickel finish. But it turns out there were for a few years from 1993 - 1995. Mine is an early 1995 gun. Here are some pics.

S Sudo New member Mar 13, 2017 #3 The catalog says it's a brushed Nickel -- and it's not shiny like many other Nickel guns. But my 442 has the "N" on the grip frame under the grips indicating a factory job.
