Nicked my 3" 65 LS

I somehow managed to cause a tiny scratch on my 3" 65 LS, just above the cylinder release. It looks like someone took a pin and stuck it in the finish, then flicked it out. Any suggestions on how to smooth...buff...polish it out without botching the rest of the gun ?

I hope I'm not insulting your intelligence, but are you sure you're not looking at the arrow for turning the internal lock? When I got my 65LS I thought it was a scratch too.

Nope, it's not the hole for the lock, my 65 LS doesn't have the lock, but if it DID I wouldn't admit it if I fell for the "oops, it's not a scratch, it's a keyhole" thing. What about using an ultra fine wetsand paper ??? Other than something simple I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it. Thanks for all the replies.
