NIB G30 First Shot

I was extreeeeemly impressed yesterday with my first shot from my new GLOCK 30.... dead nuts bullseye. My first box produced two small groups... one chest and one head... I had the same experience last week with my NIB G27.... I was very pleased with my G27 too, but yesterday it was hard to find all the bullet holes after a few shots.... I had to keep getting new targets... If anyone has been considering a G30 I highly suggest renting one first... that should remove any doubts... My petite novice wife shoots both of these GLOCKS and has the same experiences.. So, as much as I would like to take credit for marksmanship, I have to give most of it to the weapons.....Semper Fi

I was at an indoor range in So Cal. And since this was a new G30 (and G27), I tested the guns at 3 different distances with the very same results. 20 feet, 30 feet and 40 feet... 40 feet at this range is as far as you get or I would have pushed it farther. The groups at these distances didn't change much at all. I love distance shooting, so I try to push the limits with anything I shoot. 'Tis why I owned an XP-100 when I was a teenager. When I have a chance to go to an outside range I'll see what happens at longer distances. Hope this helped...
