I don't know if the Schofield extractors are deep enough to allow the necessary amount to be taken off the back of the cylinder. And I don't think the cylinder is big enough to take 6 rounds of AR with its large rim. I have not checked on either of these but they are the most obvious questions.
Of course, I won't ask why anyone would tear up an expensive gun that shoots a hard to get cartridge (.45 S&W) to get it to shoot a harder to get one (.45 AR).
