Well, I just put my money down on a Ruger KMK-678GC target pistol. It is the stainless slabside model. Since I'm a school teacher and married, I have a limited income for firearms purchases. This will probably be the last one for a while. I do still like to window shop and research my next purchase - that's part of the fun. Right now I'm already thinking that maybe I should have waited for the Hammerli Trailside target model to come out, but I think the Ruger is a solid, safe choice.
Anyway what are your next five guns that you would like to purchase (notice that this is somewhat of a hypothetical). For me they are:
1. Thompsen Center Contender with .22 barrel and a .357 Mag barrel. I would like to start reloading and my Makarov is hard to retrieve the cases (it throws them quite a ways).
2. Sig Hammerli Trailside target model - if it proves to be as reliable/accurate as the gun rags are claiming it to be.
3. Ruger Security Six or GP100/S&W/Taurus .357 with a 6" barrel - to shoot more reloads
with.
4. Browning Hi-Power - most likely a clone such as a FEG or Arcus - due to lack of funds. Of course this is a hypothetical.
5. Ruger Bisley .22 or Single Six .22/.22mag
I really like .22's for some reason. They are fun and cheap to shoot. I also have a separate wish list for rifles, but that is another forum. Didn't there used to be a rimfire section on the firingline? Anyway, I would be curious to see other people's wish lists. Maybe I'll even modify mine if I see something I overlooked.
