Here is my newest project. I love Planet of the Apes movies all of them. So I decided to make a gun that looked like one from the movie. How did I do I still have a little smoothing and finish work to do. I think she is going along very well.

I think the 30-06 is too week so I did have it rechambered into a 43 Kurtz which is a stunning round with way more than enough take down power for anything in north or south america.
 
That is not a chair leg. It came from an oak tree my great grandfather planted 100 years ago. It was struck by lighting last year and we cut it up. I thought it would look smashing on my rifle and make a great tribute to him.

I want to add quad rails to the front so I can get a forward grip a blue burning laser and a tactical light. I was thinking some 1" drywall screws would do fine.

I figured that I would also build my blue laser as well cause I can make it so that it will burn the eyes out of the bad guy. Would there be a problem with that if I had to use the gun for SD?

My apologies sir, but it doesn't work for me. Each to his own & all.
Now, if that thing had been your grandfather's wooden pirate leg, maybe there would be some appeal.

Why try to shine a laser in somebodies eye who is attacking you? That is a really small target and I don't think there are lasers available to the public that do instantaneous painful damage that would stop an attacker. I am not even aware of true laser weapons anywhere in existence although I could be wrong, it's happened before. I would just use the gun the laser is attached to to shoot the guy. If you are in enough trouble to try and blind them, you are probably in a situation where you are legal to defend yourself with deadly force.

You have the capabilities to make a laser that can do instantaneous damage? Bravo!

Did you visit the link i posted?

Laserdiy.com gives you everything you need to build lasers. While not instant I can always ADD MORE POWER....
