Clinton and his band of gun grabbers just don't get it. Less
than 2 weeks ago, their treasured "McCarthy Amendment" to the Juvenile
Justice Bill was soundly defeated on the floor of the
U.S. House. Nonetheless, they still haven't figured out that
good American citizens are not interested in the Clinton brand
of elitist gun control extremism.
We have learned today that Rep. Carolyn McCarthy and a horde of
urban liberals plan on attaching her gun-grab legislation as an
amendment to the Post Office/Treasury Appropriations Bill. If
passed, the amendment would shut down all gun shows, register gun
buyers, and place a punitive tax on all guns that you purchase.
It's important that we put a stop to this effort IMMEDIATELY!
Contact your U.S. Senators and U.S. Representative TODAY and
tell them to SAY NO all attempts to tack the McCarthy Amendment
on to the Postal bill, or any other bill. U.S. Senators can be
