Newbie Question

I have a chance to buy a NIB Century Arms, Centurion O/U 28 inch barrels, 28 gauge. I know these guns are a discontinued gun.

I have checked and all I can find is they are made in Turkey at the Salsilmaz Factory. I have had some Huglu's years ago and did not have to good of luck with them.

Are these guns made in the same huglu factory and do they have the same problems as those in the past.

Thank for your help

Bob

shotgun

remember that one of the most basic rules of life is 'you get what you pay for'. there are so many better quality o/u shotguns out there. keep looking. besides and o/u is a gun that really needs to fit the individual. you need to handle these before buying.

This is truth

remember that one of the most basic rules of life is 'you get what you pay for'.

I paid a fair amount for my shotguns, and they've only gone up in value. Something made in a third-world country is something of a crap-shoot. Maybe it will hold up its value, but probably not. In the meanwhile, you're likely to be shooting something with a raspy trigger and questionable resolution between the barrels.

Save your money for a while longer and get a nice one. IMHO.
