Newbie Mini-14 question

But 80% of Mini 14 Mags out there don't have very good Fuctional Ratings. PMI and Ruger Factory Mags are really the only way to go. Othewise your Undermining the Reliabilty of the Mini 14. You can fix the cheap Hi Cap mags but it takes a good bit of Know How to do it.
I had 4 USA mags and replaced the Followers and used a pair of Needle Nose Plyers to fix the mags. Just go with The Precision Magazines (PMI) for $35-$45 unless you want the $90 Ruger Factory Mags.

It has been said that you can get any mag to work reliably as long as it fits snugly in the rifle. You may have to adjust the lips, or you may have to replace internal parts like the spring or follower. Just something to keep in mind in case you get a lemon.
