Newbie CarryGun Question

I've been a SA auto shooter for years and recently picked up a KelTec P11. Turns out that the little critter shoots very well for me, but I'm so used to the crisp SA trigger that I wish there was some way to convert the P11 to single action auto. Does anyone out there know of anyone that does this or if there is a comparable size 10 rnd capacity handgun in SA?

Thanks

hso: practice, practice, practice. When I got me Kel-Tec P-11 I hated the trigger pull. After several hundred rounds I no longer notice it. The long trigger pull is the only safety you have. So go shoot the thing, then shoot it some more. It is now my primary carry weapon.

If you want a compact 10 round capacity SA pistol, check out Glock (M30) or the Para-Ordinance mini....

Ok,, the Glock isn't really SA but it shoots pretty well anyway, weighs about the same as the Ketlec without that horrible trigger.

I agree with Texas2NC. Go with the Glock if you can afford it. If not, you will get used to the trigger pull soon enough and you won't even notice it.

I have a tricked out P12 that I love so the KelTec was an attempt to go as small as I thought you could get while still having a credible caliber.

I consider the P10 to be a horrible mistake on Paras part. My hopes for the gun were that it would be flatter and just a little shorter (length and heigth) than the P12. What they produced was a stunted P12 from my perspective. If the new width Paras were done in alloy with a 10 round .40 I'd spend the money to get one. Alas, not the case.

I find the .45 mini Glock to be just that much too wide to fit my hand.

As to practice, both Tamara and a buddy of mine that used to be in corrections and is now AF anti-terror were at my house last night and showed a trick to me that they say will overcome the dislike for the trigger. Place a coin on top of the weapon and pull the trigger. If I get to the point where the coin stays in place while dry fireing the P11 at combat speeds they say I won't even notice the trigger pull.
