This could also be called biting your nose to spite your face. Connecticut of course is home to Colt's Manufacturing Co. Inc. of Hartford, and Sturm, Ruger & Co. Inc. of
Southport. New York (Brooklyn to be exact) is where Henry Rifles are made.
It would seem that these States want it both ways. Have companies provide jobs and tax revenue & still stick it to them through lawsuits. If I were CEO of either Colt or Ruger I would make it very clear to the governor and State legislature that if a lawsuit is filed then the company will be moving to a more hospitable location ASAP.
