I tried to make the images more clear in meaning and visuals. Not sure if I should supercede the old pics or use both.

Oleg, for some reason the links for the old pics didn't work, but no matter, I've seen them before. I would not "replace" anything. Just think of them as additions to your portfolio. Some images hit some people harder than others.

Pick your spots and take your shots.

BTW, the server I'm on now allows a link to your sight, but bars access to Free Republic, if you can believe that.

Oleg,
In my opinion, the second set of posters make a greater impact. I like them better.

If I might make a suggestion?

Move the "Armed, people fly their colors." to the flag side, top.

On moving the caption: good call, will do!

Munro, instead of dd-b.net/RKBA try dd-b.net/olegv/guns, maybe the blocker won't see that.

I have some comments on your ads.

When viewing the first image, s_alive.jpg, (from an anti-gunner POV), it seems to suggest that you should shoot(and possibly kill) the criminal before contacting the police. If I were to be in a situation where I was in danger, I would arm myself and then contact the police. We don't want to be viewed as vigilantes. Would it be better to put Call 911 as the second line? This equates arming yourself and calling 911 as ways to protect yourself.

On the second picture. Very powerful! A minor comment. Would replacing 'People' with 'Citizens' be better??? The term citizen denotes, to me, a Free Person. But People does suggest We, the People. Your call.

Third picture, s_guaranteed.jpg. The pocket camera doesn't accurately denote the 1st Amendment to me. I'm not certain what the best way to symbolize it would be, but I would suggest another go at this one. The 1st does include the Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press and Assembly. Someone taking the picture of Uncle Henry in Bermuda shorts doesn't carry the right image.

Excellent work!

Mr. Volk,

Oleg, I have been admiring you photographs and your site for a couple of months now. You really do send a powerful message with them. Thank you for making your images available to so many.
I like your updated versions of your images. The actual cloth star is much more powerful than the plain yellow one. :-) I like the one of you with the camera and the gun but I don't feel the message is as clear and beautiful as the one with the 2 guns and a camera. The interactions of the images and colors are much more moving and the point is made simply.

You are either a free man or you are not. There is no happy medium.

Great work. Maybe if you don't want to leave the small camera, one of your fancy antiques would seem clearer. You don't have a photographer's vest, do you? Dressing like a war correspondent might get the message across.

I have a photographer's vest...how do you think I carry AR15 magazines :)

I plan to have a poster showing a quill pen next to a keyboard, then an AR15 next to a flint lock rifle. Hope to have that edited up shortly.

Gorthaur, my opinion on the commas is that they belong where they are. There's an implied "When" at the beginning of the sentence.

That sounds absolutely KICK @SS!
Let me know the second it's finished.

Oleg, I want to shake your hand.(shake, shake)

Damn fine posters - all of them I've seen so far.

Thank you, Terry

Oleg,

Kudos, my man!

The yellow cloth star conveys the intended message much better than the original. However, I have a feeling that particular message is lost on the majority of Americans. Maybe if you had a picture of a Holocost Jew wearing a yellow cloth star you would have a bigger impact.

Keep up the good work.

Remember, just because you are not paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get you!

I like the statement, "First Amendment Guaranteed, Protected by the Second." I like the picture of the camera and two guns better though.

The Armed/Disarmed pic (second revision), the words ARMED and DISARMED are WAY too big. Understated should be the working model here. No shouting required, as the Star of David speaks volumes.

Also, I don't feel the camera is as clear as a person giving a speech would be, in the 1st/2nd pics.
