OMG! (How long do you think it'll be alloed to stay on the air, IF it's ever allowed to air in the first place?) Yes, the plot isn't "here & now". But the storyline is as Contemporary as Unintended Consequences.

Joel Silver, the explosive force behind "The Matrix" and "Lethal Weapon," brings his high-energy expertise to this action-packed drama, with powerful futuristic weaponry pitted against the deadly martial arts of a relentless band of guerillas in a near-future America ruled by a military coup.

An escalating series of events - an out-of-control military action in a faraway land; a disastrous plunge in the stock market, the crumbling of the nation's economy; and the tragic - perhaps deliberate - death of an honored President have led to totalitarian rule.

Now a team of four awesomely trained rebels - fighting machines whose razor-edged bodies and defiant spirits are ultimate weapons - have escaped from the would-be dictator's dungeons, and they will strike from nowhere and everywhere, destroying like wrathful gods, until the America they knew is restored.

Any chance they'll cast bill clinton as the tyrant?
It wouldn't be much of a stretch and he'll need the work.

"until the America they knew is restored."

Yeah, just wait until you see their picture of "America".

This series won't last a month, if it even ever hits the screen.

Starring Andy Dick, Rosie O`Donut, Spike Lee and the interchangeable Baldwin Brothers.

I'm sure it will have very realistic portrays of firearms and the martial arts.
Everyone will be good looking.

Of course, the US dictatorship will have no one who can hit a target in its forces and
our guys will just dance through hails of fire.

Their martial arts expertise will consist of
high risk spinning kicks and chopping someone on their back once and knocking them out.

Well, that's all you ever see on TV...unless you're talking about Van Damme...he gets beaten half to death, THEN becomes untouchable! :D
