New Toy!

I've been looking around for a while trying to find a pocket gun
to carry on my evening walks with the Ms's but couldn't find one
I was satisfied with. Tried plastic autos (still like my Glocks!),
small autos (not satisfied with the caliber or the weight), and
assorted and sundry other weapons without satisfaction.
Finally found out what others have apparently known for the last
50 years or so! Yesterday I picked up an *&* model 442.
Titanium seemed too light and steel seemed to heavy, but as
Goldilocks said, this one seemed Just right! The no-snag profile
seems to be just what the doctor ordered for pocket carry and
the .38 cartridge has been proven for just over a century.
What a combination! I think I'm gonna like this gun!

I know exactly what you mean. I went through the same process and agree that the titanium/scandium models just feel as if you aren't holding anything. I have a model 37 airweight that is great but it does have the hammer. I just picked up a 640 Centennial, stainless .357, that I'm going to be using for my evening walks with an IWB holster. I like the feel and balance of these myself, and my 37 will be used for pocket carry. Enjoy
