Well I finally did it.

Just picked up a barely used Colt Magnum Carry.

Those are pretty tough to find. Nobody seems to want to sell them, plus they were only made a couple years I think.
We want pictures!
 
And a side by side comparison with an SP 101.

The Colt is smaller overall, holds 6 shots and the grip can be had about an inch shorter, since that's where the grip frame ends.

Pretty neat huh?

I wish I could find one! That comparison to 3in SP101 was a real eye opener. Does magnum carry fit in Dick special holsters?:)
 
Hey, that is a very nice looking Colt! I'd love to have one! You don't see too many around for sale at prices I can afford lately.

As far as I can tell its almost the same size as a detective special, though the cylinder should be slightly longer.

I'm shopping for gunleather tomorrow.
