Went to a gun show in Conroe Texas today on my quest for a Python.
Walked around the whole show and most of it was black plastic pistols, or new in box Rugers and S&W's,and Taurus's.
A gentleman had some nice older S&W's,but as usual was real proud of them.Another had a few older Colt snubb's but also was over priced.Most of them wanted hundreds of dollars more than my lgs want's,so I was feeling a little let down considering it's a 100 mile drive round trip,but just as I was walking out the door I spotted a table to the left of the door I had'nt looked at yet.....and low and behold!!!
2 Colt Pythons!! He had a eight inch barrel he wanted $1650.00 for and this six inch for under a grand.When I walked up a lady told the gentleman she was going to get her husband as he had been looking for a six inch barrel Python,and as she walked off I told him, I'll take it.
He sarted laughing,saying I think he's going to be a little p.o.'d
I told him well, money talks, and pulled out the cash.
Next quest for a Trooper!
