You have done well, my friend. What a fine firearm,
and a beautiful pic I might add! The 1955 target
model 25-2 is one firearm that has always eluded
me; as I never could seem to find one. Enjoy-
Thanks. I borrowed the pic from the previous owner though. For some reason I always tend to move available funds toward a new/different gun instead of a camera.
Zorro: The FFL I used for delivery of the M25 has a Texas commemorative M29 in his case that was calling my name- unfortunately, I've traded about everything that I'm willing to trade...I think.
This one, and the M28 I just got, should keep me as content as I can get for awhile.
FPrice: I found this one while searching Google.com for something else. There seems to be an abundance of old S&W's around here though- probably got something to do with the Appalachian economy. I had to pass on two old snubbies at a recent flea market that were pre -# and LNIB for under $300 -nearly killed me.
I lucked up last November and got a Model 25-2 that is just like yours...LNIB condition, 6.5-inch bbl., etc. It is the most accurate centerfire handgun I own. I am sure you will be pleased with your purchase.
