New to me BFR 475/480

I went and bought the BFR and was able to get it for $675 with dies and primer brass.

i havent been blowing dust off my 480 lately..but there has been sparks blowing out of the barrell lately...

That's a great deal on that! You did good. Is that a Hogue grip on that? I bought a Pachmyr grip for mine, assuming that a Super Blackhawk one would work, but they don't. The grip bolts are in different locations and the ones for the Rugers interfere with the mainspring.

That's a 6 1/2" right? You planning on mounting optics on it? I am putting a red dot on mine. Have it, but have not mounted it yet. It took me a while to decide that I wanted either a scope or red dot versus iron sights on this one.

Yes it is 6 1/2. Loading up some 475 so i can shoot it. No plans for optic's
