Picked thia one up last week and I;m trying to find a holster for it.
I've read where some Sig model holsters might work but I'm reading different Sig models on the www.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly (which is doubtful) it's a Sig 228 clone, sota. I don't know how close the dimensions are but the trigger guard is certainly different. May work, may not. You might want to call some of the holster makers and see what they say.

Nice looking gun BTW. Good luck.

My A-75 eats anything and everything. Only one time was there a problem and it was due to the cartridge not having any powder in it. I paid $250 for mine with 3 mags in a crappy holster and it even came with about 25 rounds of JHP ammo that I tested it with. Before the one I have now, I had one in .40, and it was just plain unpleasant to shoot. But it shot fine, and had zero issues. I passed on one of the rare stainless ones a few years ago, and I still kick myself for doing it. I should have grabbed it up.

Around 1989, I had an Astra A-80 9mm, it was a very accurate and reliable pistol. The plastic grip had been broken and glued by the previous owner. Ordering a new grip from my local gunstore, a hardware store (they since stopped selling guns), no internet or ebay back then... it took 4 months to get the replacement grip from Europe. Too long a wait for me for parts, so I traded her off. Should have kept it!

I've had an A-75 in .40 cal. for about a decade. No probs with it. I actually like it. It isn't light and handles the .40 very well for a compact. I have often wished I would run across one in .45 ACP.

I have the A75 in 40S&W as well. It's been 100% reliable and the weight makes shooting the 40S&W almost enjoyable. I had given up on the 40S&W round for years until I got the A75 about 5 years ago. I got it because I had a complete upper in 9mm for the A75 so I now have it in 9mm and 40S&W with a simple slide swap. The mags work for 9mm and 40S&W (which baffles me) but if you look at a factory mag is says 40S&W on one side and 9mm on the other side. It works fine for both calibers. I am very happy with it.

Astra made some really neat firearms unfortunately they were too little in R&D on new products and their old ones were quite antiquated 7for the time. Then came The A 75 and friends but it was too little to late even though a nice pistol.
Most of the Astra 75 owners I have talked with are quite happy with the pistol although a bit difficult for CC.

Best Astra I owned was a snub nosed .44 Magnum, copy of the SW 29. Jovino job if I recall. A "Terminator". Nice gun, I should have kept it.

Skadoosh-My first one was a .40. It worked great, but my hand felt dead after one mag through it, so I sold it for a nice profit and bought my present one that has impressed everyone who has shot it.

I've had 2 A80's, an A-90, an A-60, and an A-100, along with the two A-75's. All were great, zero issues and as accurate as any other similar guns. I've never, and I don't know anyone who has ever had a single issue with any Astra gun made from the A-80 days until the end.

Astra and Star did not have the up and down quality issues that plagued Llama during the eighties. Apparently none of the three companies had sufficient cash
reserves to survive the lean years of the late eighties and nineties.
