New to me .32 sw revolver can anyone tell me exactly what I have?

Has the number 4858 under the cylinder crane anyone know what year it was made? Number on butt 269745 6 in barrel in .32 S&W long rounded butt latest patent date on top of barrel September 14 1909 looks like a miniature S&W pre model 10? From pictures online I’ve seen looks like 1903 .32 hand ejector but the serial number seems high from what they say the range is ?

Pictures !!!!

Likely a turn of the century smith. I recently posted a thread about these. Without pictures, it's hard to relate to this. See if it has a top rib or lug and if there is any "very" fine printing listing more information. If it's chromed plated, and short barrel, it was for the civilian market. If it blued and longer barrel, it was probably military or law enforcement. ......

Be Safe !!!

Think it worked

Looks like an older S&W Hand Ejector. Caliber will be 32 S&W Long. I'm not an expert on S&W serial numbers, but good information is available on line.

It's a Third Model Hand Ejector, made between 1919 and 1942.
Yours is from the lower end of the production run, dating closer to 1919.
It's a .32 S&W long, built on the old I frame.
