I was reading about Bullseye matches...how would a person get started in compitition .
I have seveal handguns, .44 , .38 , .22 , 9mm , .45acp and working on a .357.

Show up.
Folks there will tell you all you need to know.
Take your .22 with 90 rounds and .45 with 180, none of your other guns signify. Eye and ear protection are about all else you need.

finding matches

Shooting Sports USA has a list of matches sorted by type, state, etc. every month. Hardcopy only though.

Ask your local gunshop guys. You can bet there is a match close by regularly, if you drive to Phoenix there should be something to shoot every weekend.
