New to AR build

So i want to buy a complete upper and lower to build an ar. Iv never put together a rifle before. Couple questions first will any 2 receivers go together? And what does it take to get them together im sure there is some special tools needed.

Say i bought this upper and lower and tried to put them together how easy is it just snap it in or what? Would this even work and is that all you need for the gun to function properly is complete upper and lower. Thanks guys i appreciate your help.

The complete upper, complete lower, magazines and sights are all you'll need.

Just remember the pivot and takedown pins are captive and don't come all the way out.

I wouldn't call what your wanting to do "building" a AR you are simply joining a already bulit upper and lower. Yes it will work all AR-15 uppers and lowers should go togeather.

The upper and lower just pins together. These are like tinker toys.

Before you spend your money take a look at what Palmetto State Armory has to offer. They sell a mil-spec rifle in kit form for under $500.
