New stock on Savage 17

Length of pull etc

The length of pull or LOP is measured from the forward face of the trigger to the end of the butt plate or butt pad. It should be measured to the point halfway between the heel (top) and the toe (bottom) of the butt plate.

It is a means of fitting the stock to the shooter.

Don't know a thing about Boyds stocks. Read reviews online.

They are a direct fit.

A couple of my Savages in Boyds stocks...

You may have to do a little relief where the barrel pins are, but other than that they fit great.
You'll need a DIP trigger guard and bottom metal mag plate to finish it up...

The stock you're looking at is very similar to the Savage BTV, which is made by Boyds-as are most of Savage's wood stocks.
