Tactical Operations Tango 51 20in 308. Haven't got the chance to mount the scope yet. Super excited to try it out! The focus of this build (well I just assemble and Mike at TacOps does the fun of building!) Is to have a KISS high quality and balanced precision rifle. As such the rifle will be paired with a generous eye relief scope, a harris bipod, a holland bubble level, and cheekpad.

This rifle is good, I mean GOOD! You know when you hold a quality revolver or auto, it's woah GOOD! :D

Congrats, really nice iron you have there, now you have to go and buy some really small targets to shoot at (LOL).

Excelent choice.

Thanks guys for the kind words! :D I took so long that I have almost gotten out of rifles and focused on handguns. Now I hope this will draw me back into rifles again!

Is that based on a Remington 700?

yes it is based on the Remington 700. I do not much about the technical details and hate to give ya wrong info, but my take on this rifle is that it is unlike many current tactical precision builds. It is less "tactical" and focused on getting the the fundamentals and the proven aspects of a rem 700 fitted down to a science. This rifle configuration is currently being fielded by several LE. The stock is a sako varmint stock and balances the rifle nicely than say my AI

Our local police dept has two of them and one officer regularly practices with his tango 51 at our local gun club. Even after thousands of rounds down the barrel it still shoots .25" at 100 yards. He can't let others fire it but I had the chance to examine it closely one day last fall and its a top shelf rifle.

its one heck of a nice rifle, congrats on the purchase.
