New sig p228 for $515.00?

That sounds like a great deal. I can get a used p229 9mm with 2/10rd mags and 1/13rd mag for $525.00. This is the best local price I've seen in SW Virginia.

I also have a chance to get a used "in like new condition" for $600.00 but with 2 factory hicaps and houge grips wicih is better deal?

used $600 total cost 2 hicaps(in great shape)

Buy it as soon as you can! That'd be about $600 here in the Tidewater area of Virginia, if you could even find some hi caps here alone for less than $100 each!.

Why would you pay $100 for a preban mag in your local area when you can find much better deals through Shotgun News or on the Web?

Buy them both. Decided which one you like the most, keep the hi-cap mags, and sell the other at a profit. :)
 
I went with the new one with the 10 rd mags.
That way I know which idiot puts the first scratch in it. If anyone is interested I have leads on two other deals.
