New scope rings

What rings to use.

I have a 10/22 and have the scope rail that it come with mounted (finally).

I have a Nikon 4x32 rimfire scope and the rings that it came with do not work on that rail. Originally I got new rings for my CZ but the ones ones I could find are REALLY high (yet these attach to the Ruger but are still way too high).

Is there way to attach this scope to my Ruger for less than $30 (local Cabels has nothing that will work)?

I also had problems trying to get rings to fit the Ruger base, so I replaced the base with a Weaver base and used Weaver style rings.

Is that not a Weaver style base you mounted? If so, Weaver 4x4 1" rings at Wally World are 10 bucks, and they work fine for my 22s.
 
Weaver rings are cheap and work just as well as the more expensive rings. I have some of the Weaver 4X4's from Walmart on all of my 10-22's. I think they are less than $10 now.
