I paid my SP101 22 off today and wanted to dross it and was advised that the gun is not even approved in Ca yet. I asked when they expected the gun to be avaliable in Ca and one of the sales people said maybe six months???? What was I thinking? What were they thinking when they sold me a gun thats not avaliable in the former golden state of Calif??????

I will never understand California. They have even banned 100+ year old pistols like the Colt Model 1903 and Model 1908. The legislature in California must be smoking something, and it's not Cuban cigars.

Sorry to hear about your predicament. I hope you can get it cleared up....and perhaps one day move to a saner state.

Their is almost a $200 restocking fee if I choose to cancel my purchase. I really want this gun so IM going to sit on it or transfer the funds to another firearm. This is a major firearm chain that has got the word that the gun will be able to be sold in Ca in the near future, maybe six months from now?

IT IS APPROVED! HAVE THEM DO A SEARCH ON THE CAL APPROVED ROSTER!

It was approved on the 23rd or 24th. It is both in the new additions section as well as in a parts list from it. I've seen it and ordered one. PRINT OUT A COPY if they refuse to look it up!

I found this out around 5 pm on Friday. Mine will arrive later this week.

Don't let them yank you around!
