Well after much debate with myself..I have a Vanguard 2 in 6.5 creemoor ordered..It should be here Wed.this will be use on Whitetails and yotes.

Congrats!!

While I can't speak to your chosen caliber directly, I think you will love the Vanguard. I have loved mine in .270 win for several years.

Picked up a Vanguard 2 in Feb 243 cal, shoots awesome, trigger is nice and crisp.
Saw a older Vanguard and the gun shop a few weeks ago in 22-250, picked it up and after about 6 different load variations it is just about a 1 hole shooter at 100 yds.
The only difference I have found with the 2 is that the older one has a wood monte carlo stock and the Vanguard 2 has a syn.
I think you will be very happy with your purchase.
