Just got another new one. This is the Pietta Shooters Model with the progressive
rifiling. Chambers measure .457. The barrel is 5 groove. I plan to use the Hornady .457 balls. They measure .457-460 dia. You can't push them in with
thumb pressure. Have to use the loading lever. Going to use 18 grs Swiss FFF
and creme-of-wheat filler. This has a trigger to kill for. Locks up tighter than
any other revolver I have ever had including modern. Ought to shoot. Plan on
using it next year at Friendship. Looks like it has never been fired. This was made in 2002.
