New Rem 700, XCR Heavy barrel, Fluted

Just bought this beauty for an awesome price of $1100. Never shot a Remington rifle, I have a savage 30-06. Can anyone tell me what will be the main differences in these two?
 
Much more info need...Exactly what model XCR do you have? ie- XCR Tactical 26", XCR Compact Tactical 20"', .223 rem, .308 win, .300 win mag. Comparing it to what model Savage? What do you plan to use them for?
