New Rail-mount Tac Light
Picked this guy up at the gun show this weekend. The Nebo HP190 LED tactical light looks like your basic rail mounted light...and it pretty much is. It uses a Q5 Cree LED and standard slide-activated switch for easy operation with either the trigger finger or supporting hand.
Here's some of what i noticed:
- 190 lumens of power. (compared to 180 lumens on my Fenix PD20 in "turbo" mode)
- Anodized aluminum Waterproof Housing
- Standard CR123 battery (which means I can use my Rechargeables)
- Spring-lock installation: Goes on and comes off in seconds without sacrificing stability.
- It's size is smaller than most rail-mount flashlights
- At $40, it's less than half the price of similar LED light
